Greg Rich was the head of Gibson's Custom Shop from 1987 to 1993. He is generally considered responsible for the reissue of the great Gibson banjos of the past. There is little doubt that the Gibson Banjos were MUCH better after he left than they were before he came. He currently lives the life of a bon vivant in southern California.

Greg with a Martin Guitar he had customized with an incredible panda bear motif inlay. Of course, that is a Dogwood Designs strap (what did you expect?).
This is one of only 50 Roy Rogers commemorative guitars which will be made. Roy signed 50 labels on the Wednesday before he died on Sunday. They are incredibly ornate in addition to being an ultra fine musical instrument. They are available on a limited basis through Greg's company Dream Guitars and apparel. Greg also makes a reissue of the Recording King banjo as well as the Lloyd Loar mandolin & archtop guitar.Contact him at: http:// www.dreamguitars.com
